Cruising the Hauraki Gulf and beyond is what this was designed for. Cuts through that wind against tide which can be a real problem for many designs but the Formula 33 handles it with ease for a boat of her size and weight. This model really does pack a big punch for her sea keeping abilities. As she is quite lite, displacement is only 4 tonne, she has good fuel consumption at 16 knots cruising speed.
For a couple or family with small kids she is ideal for weekends away. The front cabin is a double to port and it has a single to std. There is a cabin to port aft of the front cabin and that is a double. She also has a pullout single in the main saloon so can sleep 5.
